YHWH’s Portion

3-1- 2017, Hebrew 5777, Ethiopic 7509

To the glory, honor, praise and power of Yahoshua Ben YHWH, Ruach Kadesh, Abba Father who led and leads, and will lead me in consciousness:

Torah Portion Terumah, which interpreted is Portion. Terumah is when YHWH spoke to Moshe saying for Moshe to speak to the Children of Israel to take a portion for YHWH. In exile, Moshe and the Children of Israel are given instructions to build a dwelling place for YHWH to dwell. The form of the Tabernacle and the form of all its vessels, Moses and the Children of Israel were and are to make. Moshe and the Children of Israel are to make a Sanctuary for YHWH, so that YHWH may dwell among the people.  The structure was erected in Sinai, in a tent prepared for by craftsmen.

Terumah, details making of the Tabernacle, Ark, Cover, Table, Menorah, Walls, Partitions, and Court Yard. Symbolic and esoteric meaning of all of the details are varied and many.

Initially the Ten Commandments were given to Israel as a guide, a blueprint for life and love, after Israel was delivered from Mitzraim. When Moshe went up the Mountain for 40 days, the children of Israel, lost faith and directed Aaron to make them a golden calf. When Moshe’ came down and saw what had been done, punishment was exacted for the wrong that Israel did. YHWH’s punishment is not like the world, flesh and devil’s. Once man has been punished and repents, YHWH forgives.  Because Israel had fallen and were Falashed, as punishment, Israel was given The Commandments a second time. The Commandments that were written the second time were written by the finger of YHWH.

In Torah Portion Terumah, YHWH provided Moshe with instructions on building a dwelling place for YHWH to dwell amongst the people. Israel became and is a nation by virtue of the Torah. All who were scattered and who cleave, and return to YHWH, share The Torah, The LIVING WORD.

The Hebrew letter Aleph, א ”  “ in Kabbalah writings represents  hidden infinite aspect of YHWH called. “ein sof”. Ein Sof is translated to mean, without end. The upper arm of the Yod of Aleph has the hidden infinite aspect of YHWH, the ein sof. The Lower Yod of Aleph represents the revelations of YHWH to mankind and of divinity. The diagonal  Wav  of the letter Aleph, shows connection between the two realms of humanity and divinity. Wav is humble in the face of YHWH’s mystery and revelation. Yod represents the paradox of experiencing YHWH as hidden and close, near and far.

Psalms 62, Psalmist writes on Jeduthn, a song by Dawid. “For YHWH alone my soul waits silently, from Him comes my salvation. YHWH alone is my Rock and my Salvation; my Stronghold, I shall not falter greatly.” Wicked schemes and schemers plot treacherously against Dawid because they fear that his rise to eminence will threaten their own position. They delight in deceit, they bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. Selah!  For YHWH alone,, waiting silently, my soul, because my hope is from Him. My hope is for Him. He alone is my Rock and my Salvation; my Stronghold, I shall not falter. Upon YHWH rests my salvation and my glory, the Rock of my strength, my Refuge, is in YHWH. Trust in Him at every moment, O people! Pour out your hearts before Him; YHWH is a refuge for YHWH’s people! Selah! Common people are but vanity. Distinguished people are but deceit. Were they to be lifted up on scales, together they would be lighter than vanity. Trust not in oppression and in robbery place not vain hope; Though wealth flourishes, set not your hear ton it. One thing YHWH has spoken, and two have I heard, that strength belongs to YWHH. We experience two different things, YHWH’s  strict strength and abundance of YHWH’s kindness. Both YHWH’s strength and kindness are manifestations of one thing YHWH has spoken. YHWH repays man according to his deeds.

After having read, heard and experiences, summary of a book I once read, shines light on what has happened, is happening and will happen. The Torah offers a sacred approach to life and love. The book that I was directed to read, offered a look at what was to be experienced, and understood about the sacred and the mundane and about art.  This summary report of that writing is liken to falashed Israel’s experience…..

Life itself bears something of guilt in it.  This is why the spiritually enlightened subject themselves to penance (reparation, self-punishment, forfeit, and atonement and why sinners feel guilt somewhere deep inside.  Ones may experience VIRTUE & WISDOM, Subtle fear,  and grief over transitory period of time.  Who and or what does one return to?

The chalice (prize, trophy, cup, award, medal, crown, title) is the flower within.  A woman’s womb. A thinkers brain. “LIFE LIVES THERE”.  One has to be lucky to find a special friendship, a readiness, that possesses,  The urge to speak. The urge to think.

Experience reveals that the settled have a terror of the homeless. A sacrificial ritual to accomplish is the task in the heart, to gather his friends’ image and preserve it the way it lived in his soul today. Paying back a debt, and showing gratitude to Giver of Life.

Fear of death, becomes the root of all art. Visual and performing art, keeps alive people, places, events. Art keeps alive in the minds and hearts of people, history and future events. Perhaps of all things of the mind, we fear death, we shudder at life’s instability, we grieve to see flowers wilt again and again, and leaves fall.  Perhaps in our hearts we know that we, too, are transitory and will soon disappear. When artists create pictures and thinkers search for laws and formulate thoughts, it is in order to salvage something from the great dance of death, to make something that lasts longer than we do.

Too old to be an apprentice. The older one gets in age, one should be a journeyman or a master. For ones who were exiled and or falashed at a time when they were older in age,  one may ask, was the journey cut short before it even began? Did the fear of the unknown and or misunderstood, persuade the request for death?

DELIVERANCE-THANK YOU. TODAH RABBAH! The day will come when they will say blessed is the barren and those who do not give suck?  Darkness……..Let there be light!

“We go into their temples as they come into ours”. Is a  quote from a book, I once read that spoke to the beautiful, ugly, unassuming, exciting, unable to keep his attention for a long period of time experience of an apprentice. Each allotted an allotment of time. If the temples were unable to keep his heart and attention, he would move on, to the next.

Few understand the master’s acceptance of commissions of artistry to amass money, land, wealth for His daughter.

Is she incapable of finding love in a haystack? Her conception, birth, and rearing as well as her love must be constructed and maintained in the cloister. Women ignored by men are capable of extraordinary fire and devotion. The wilted has a more maternal, mourningly sweet tenderness. Each woman has her secrets and charms and to unlock these made him happy. In that respect, all women are alike. Lack of youth or beauty is balanced by some special gesture. Not every woman can hold him equally long. He is just as loving and grateful toward the ugly as toward the youngest and prettiest, he never loved halfway.  Some women tied him to them more strongly after three or ten nights of love. Others were exhausted after the first time and forgotten.

One may have found it difficult to go to work. Birth and death, living together;  Birth & death, tenderness & cruelty, life and destruction.  How does something so definite and formal affect the soul in intangible and formless ways?  Perfect works of art  become almost hateful and boring, in spite of undeniable beauty.  Workshops, churches, and palaces are full of these fatal works of art; we help with a few ourselves. Deeply disappointing because they aroused the desire for the highest and did not fulfill it.  They lacked the most essential thing-mystery. Mystery is what dreams and truly great works of art have in common.

One knew it was good to travel toward his mother, to be drawn and called by her.  To feel alive. Never able to shape her image, she’d always remain a dream, an intuition, a golden shimmer, a sacred mystery. He had to follow her and submit his fate to her. She is his star…….
